Masterclass sustainable development: Resource scarcity

Sat, 07/02/2015 - 09:30 - Sun, 08/02/2015 - 13:30

7 to 8 February, Vredeshuis, Ghent

Early February it’s time for Catapa to organise a Masterclass weekend Sustainable Development with Act4Change!

The Masterclass Sustainable Development is a meeting place for youth (18 to 35) and other people that would like to exchange ideas about sustainable development with respect to resources with both experts and each other. The weekend includes a general programme and key note speaker(s) combined with the track of your choice. In this track a small group of participants will actively discuss a more specific topic with experts in the field.

This time the three tracks will focus on different aspects of resource scarcity. The tracks you choose from are:

·         Circulair economy

·         Responsible mining

·         Land, natural resources and conflict

So from 7-8 February we will meet one another for some interesting sessions, inspiring discussions and fun workshops on sustainable development in the Vredeshuis, in Ghent. Applications will open soon, so keep an eye on the Catapa-website for more information and block 7-8 February on your calendar!
